WHY CLOUD MATRIX IT
At 16, I was working at my local Dairy Queen and realized I had a knack for the operational side of the business. I enjoyed the challenge, and when the owners offered to move me into management after high school, it seemed like the right move. I figured that was just what I was supposed to do. However, I eventually felt a pull toward something more. Without a clear plan or a way to fund a degree, I took a leap of faith and joined the Marine Corps. I signed up to be a combat photographer, a move that unexpectedly launched my career in IT.
Fast forward 24 years, and I have had the chance to work in some incredible tech roles and earn my degree in network security. As the founder of Cloud Matrix IT, I now use that entire range of experience to help our clients. I’ve taken the discipline of the Marines and the practical business lessons I learned early on to build a company that simplifies technology for others. We handle the security and management side of IT so our clients can focus on their own growth. It has been a long road from the DQ counter, but I wouldn't change a thing.
